This art print has a holographic finish that sparkles beautifully in the light. Because the effect shows up best on dark colors, I’ll adjust your background colors as needed to help it stand out. For example, blue may become dark blue, and beige may become dark brown. Before it goes to print, I’ll send you a small JPG so you can approve the updated colors.

A note about the sparkle: This holographic print is light-reactive, so the shimmer depends on where you hang it. In dim light, or on a wall with no direct light, the sparkle may not be visible. For the best effect, hang it somewhere it can catch direct sunlight or bright directional light.

Finish: gloss light card stock with holographic sparkle that shines when the light hits it.

  • Holographic sparkle shows up best on dark areas of print.
  • Please note that in some lighting the sparkles don't really show! You can see here in the photograph of little Pancake next to her print, the holographic effect doesn’t show because the light is not hitting the print directly.
  • The photos here are trying to convey how the holographic effect shows up, but the best one is the video I took and added here.

Border: there is a small white border around the edge of the print

Note

Important: This product is for prints of an existing portrait that I've already completed for you. If you need a brand-new portrait created from scratch, start in The Portrait Studio first.

Please also note that the holographic sparkle effect is not always visible. It catches the light as you move around the print, so the amount of sparkle depends on the lighting.
